[2] Reminders That We Earnestly Assist Ahlus Sunnah at Aston to Complete The Project- [Do Not Belittle Anything You Can Give In Charity, Even Something Equal to Half a Date]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Adee Bin Haatim [may Allaah be pleased with him] said that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “There is not one of you except that Allaah will speak with him without any interpreter between them. He (the person) would see towards his right and would not find anything but (the deeds) which he had done before, and he would see towards the left and would not find anything but (the deeds) which he had done before. He would see in front of him and would find nothing but Fire just before his face. So protect (yourselves) against Fire even if it is with the help of half a date”. [Saheeh Muslim 1016]

Imaam An-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Half a date or what is closer to it. In this there is an urge (or encouragement) to give charity- no hindrance from that due to it being a little and (even) a little of it is a means to safety from the fire”. [Sharh Saheeh Muslim.
