How Does Ahlus Sunnah Deal With The Khawaarij [Bloodthirsty Terrorists-Dogs of The Hell Fire] If They Transgress–Imaam Barbahaari clarifies

Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah) stated in Sharh- As Sunnah:

‘It is permissible to fight the Khawaarij if they attack the wealth of the Muslims, or the Muslims and their families, but if they are dispersed, then the Muslim Ruler is not to seek after them, nor are their wounded to be killed, nor is booty taken from them, nor may those taken captive be killed, nor are those who flee to be pursued.’

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) said:

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘It is permissible to fight the Khawaarij if they attack the wealth of the Muslims, or the Muslims and their families;’ because the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) commanded that they are to be fought, and because Ali (radiyallaahu-anhu) fought them when they attacked and killed Abdullaah Ibn Khabbaab al Arrat and ripped open the stomach of his pregnant wife.  So Ameerul Mumineen Ali (radiyallaahu-anhu) decided to fight them as they brought about a good reason to be fought against.

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘But if they are dispersed, then the Muslim leader is not to seek after them’ If they desist from fighting, the ruler is not to chase them, nor carry out a military expedition against them, as long as they do not commit acts of transgression.  And no doubt they are misguided and are to be advised in hope that they may return (repentant) and are not fought.

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘Nor are their wounded to be killed’; because the evil of the injured person is curtailed.

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘Nor is booty to be taken from them’, meaning: their wealth is not to be taken as war booty; because it is the wealth of the Muslims.

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘Nor may those taken captive be killed’ because they are Muslims, and by being injured and taken as captive their evil is curtailed.

And regarding the saying of Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah): ‘Nor are those who flee to be pursued’.  If they flee, the leader is to leave them alone and not go after them as their evil is curtailed.

[2] A Reminder to Misguided Shadeed Muhammad and his companions amongst the corrupters!

Allaah (The Most High) said:

[شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّهُ ۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓٮِٕكَةُ وَأُوْلُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ قَآٮِٕمَۢا بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ‌ۚ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَڪِيمُ ]

”Allah bears witness that La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and the angels, and those having knowledge (also give this witness); (He is always) maintaining His creation in Justice. La ilah illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.” [3:18]

Imaam Qurtubi (rahimahullaah) said: This ayah is evidence (concerning) the virtue of knowledge and the nobility of the scholars; for indeed if anyone was more noble than the scholars, Allaah would have (mentioned) them alongside His Name and the name of the angels, just as He did with the Scholars.

He who cheats (or deceives) does not belong to me!

Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu-anhu) narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) passed by a pile of food and put his hand into it, and his fingers touched something wet. He said, ”What is this, O seller of the food?” The man said, ”It was (made wet) by the rain, O Messenger of Allaah.” He said, ”Why did you not put (the wet part) on top of the pile so that the people could see it? He who deceives does not belong to me.”

[1] Reminder to the Salafis of Stoke–Goldie (Abu Usamah Adh-Dhahabi) is a Man of Bidah

Al-Allaamah Ahmad Bin Yahyah An-Najmi (rahimahullaah) the former Mufti of the Jaazaan (Saudi Arabia) was asked about

“O Shaykh Ahmad we have with us in America a man called abu usaamah who is considered to be from the Du’aat, he aids and supports abul hasan [i.e. Al-Maribi (The Ikhwaani Innovator)] and he calls some noble salafi brothers gulaat (extremists), muqallidah (blind followers),and muhqiboon (the people whose religion is the religion of the one they blindly follow), so what is the legislated position from this man and how should we deal with him?”

The Shaikh (rahimahullaah) answered:

“Your position from him is the same as your position from the people of innovation.

Turn away from him and abandon him.”

A Reminder To Those who Claim Salafiyyah, whilst they invite Abu Usaamah to their centres

Imaam Fudayl Ibn Iyaad (rahimahullaah): ”Whoever sits with a person of innovation has not been given wisdom.”

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) said: He (i.e. the one who sits with a person of bidah) is deprived of wisdom, and wisdom is understanding of the Religion of Allaah.  The one who sits with ahlul bidah is deprived of understanding of the Religion as punishment for him.[Source: It-haaful Qaaree Bitta’liqaat Alaa Sharh As-Sunnah Lil Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah) by Sheikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (hafidha-hullaah) (page: 318, Vol: 2)]

How can Shaikh say that such and such is deviated, whilst he opposes the Soofees etc- A statement of some of the Hizbiyyoon aimed at sheltering their deviant figureheads of Tamyee and Bidah

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Imaam Barbahaaree (rahimahullaah) said: ‘It is not permitted for a man to say, ‘So and so is a person of the Sunnah’ until he knows that he combines the characteristics of the Sunnah, so it is not said of him, ‘a person of the Sunnah’ until he combines all the Sunnah.'[1]

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (hafidha-hullaah) commented on the above statement of Imaam Barbahaaree saying:

Do not give recommended to a person and a praise of him, except based on knowledge, lest the people become deceived by your praise of him, whilst he is not what (you have stated about him).  So when his real affair and path is clear to you, his knowledge and steadfastness; then you can give him recommendation. As for giving out praise and recommendation whilst not knowing of anything about him, then this is a dangerous recommendation through which the people will be deceived by this person.

Had only those who give commendations to the people stopped at that (i.e. put it in its proper place), then they would not give recommendation, except for one who fulfils the conditions of (receiving) recommendation because recommendation is a ‘Witness’; so, if the recommendation is not correct it will be a false witness.

And concerning the statement of Imaam Barbahaaree: ‘until he knows that he combines the characteristics of the Sunnah’ Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan commented on the above statement saying: The characteristics of the Sunnah are to be in Aqeedah, Knowledge and adherence to the Salafus Saaleh.  But if there is not in him except a single characteristic of the (sunnah), then he is not judged to be from Ahlus Sunnah on the basis of a single characteristic or one thing, so what about the one who does not have anything from that? [End of quote: It-haaful Qaaree Bitta’liqaat Alaa Sharhis Sunnah Lil Imaam Barbahaaree, Vol: 2, page:275-276]

So be mindful of those who utilise these foolish statements in order to hide the other deviations and innovations of their figureheads. Likewise, be distant from the obstinate blind followers—those who carry the slogan of Ikhtilaaf, whilst intending falsehood by way of it and to reject the clear unambiguous knowledge based refutations of the scholars against the figureheads of hizbiyyah, bidah and Tamyee.

Abu Haazim informs them of his sources of wealth and why he does not fear poverty

It was said to Abu Haazim (rahimahullaah):

What is your wealth? He said: I have two (sources) of wealth by way of which I cannot fear poverty: Reliance upon Allaah and not being desperate for what people possess. It was said to him: ”Do you not fear poverty?” He said: ”Should I fear poverty when my Protector (Allaah) owns what is in the heavens and on the earth, and all that is under the earth!”
