In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.
“Allaah does not accept the Salaah , except with ablution”.
The author began with this hadeeth to give notification regarding the status of purification in relation to Salaah- that it is a condition and Salaah is not accepted except when ablution is fulfilled. So, this mighty Salaah – which is an act of worship in which one stands in the presence of Allaah – requires purification of the body, clothing and the place of prayer. Without purification, Salaah is not accepted, regardless whether a person forgot to be in a state of purification, did so deliberately, out of forgetfulness or out of ignorance; however the ignorant person and the one who forgot are not guilty of sin, but their prayer – due to lack of purification – is not sound. If a person remembers after forgetting that he was not in a state of purification, then he must repeat his prayer, but he is not sinful. As for the one who deliberately abandoned purification, his Salaah is not accepted and he has also committed a sin.
Amongst the benefits of this hadeeth is that ablution is not obligated on a person for every Salaah, because the statement, “Allaah does not accept the Salaah except with purification” is related to prayer, therefore as long as purification is present then prayer is accepted, whether two prayers or more. In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
Imaam Ibn Rajab [rahimahullaah] said:
When it is the case that the original [place] of Taqwah is in the heart, then none can determine its reality except Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic], as he [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] said: ‘’Indeed Allaah neither looks at your images nor your wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your actions.’’ And in another narration, [he (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam)] said: “Indeed, Allaah neither looks at your bodies nor your images’’
[Saheeh Muslim. Number 2564]
Indeed, it may be that a person has a good looking image, [abundant or enough] wealth, prestige or leadership in the worldly life, whilst his heart is deprived of Taqwah. And it may be that there is one with nothing, but his heart is filled with Taqwah, so he becomes nobler in the Sight of Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic]; rather this is mostly what happens.

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
Now has come to you Our Messenger [Muhammad] explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over [i.e. leaving out without explaining] much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light [Prophet Muhammad] and a plain Book [this Qur’an]. Wherewith Allah guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides them to a Straight Way [Islamic Monotheism].
[In the Aayah above, it is stated]: “Wherewith Allah guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace”; but it is stated in another Aayah that Allaah’s Path [or way] is one, [such as the Aayah]: “And verily, this is my Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not [other] paths, for they will separate you away from His Path.”
[Surah Al-An’aam’ Aayah 153]
Answer: Allaah’s path is one, but it has branches [i.e. legislated acts of worship attached to one path], such as Salaah, Zakat, Sawm, Haj, Jihaad [ref 1], righteousness, keeping the ties of kinship and other deeds. All these deeds [i.e. Salaah etc are legislated ways to peace as mentioned in Al-Maa’idah’ Aayaat 15-16] are under the [umbrella] of one path [i.e. Allaah’s legislated path mentioned in Surah Al-An’aam Aayah 153 and not the innovated paths or acts of worship].

£150,000
URGENTLY NEEDED
Who is he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan so that He may multiply it to him many times?
And It Is Allah that decreases or Increases (your provisions), and unto Him you shall return.
(Surah al-Baqarah v 245)
We are at the final phase of the North Road Masjid New Build Project and urgently require £150,000 in order for building works to continue up until the completion of the build.
We are currently requesting our generous brothers and sisters to donate or provide us with a loan for a period of time so that the Masjid is able to proceed with the remaining build and meet dead-lines, thus alleviating the time constraints placed upon such a noble project.
