What Are We Like Compared to The Salaf – By Ibnul Alaa [rahimahullaah]

Abu Amr Ibnul Alaa [rahimahullaah] said:

We are nothing compared to those who have preceded [i.e. the Salaf] except like a sprout on the long roots of a date palm tree.
