Ibn Abee Dunyaa (rahimahullaah) narrates from Ad-Dahhaak (rahimahullaah) who said: ”I met a people who used to learn about Wara (i.e. acquainting themselves and being apprehensive about those things which they feared will ruin the affairs of their afterlife and avoiding them); but today they (i.e. the people) learn rhetoric.” —————————- [(الورع)(page:50)]

Our Salaf: A Short and Compelling statement
