No sensible person would desire this for himself/herself

Allaah (The Most High) said:

And let those who oppose the Messenger’s (Muhammad) commandment (i.e. his Sunnah legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements, etc.) beware, lest some Fitnah befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them. [24:63]

Reminders from Imaam Ibnul Jawzi (rahimahullaah)

There are three statements of the scholars regarding the Fit’nah intended in this Ayah: Ibn Abbaas (radiyallaahu-anhumaa) said that this fitnah is ‘misguidance’; Mujaahid (rahimahullaah) said that it is ‘tribulation in the worldly life’; Muqaatil and As-Sadiy (rahimahumallaah) said that it is ‘disbelief’

And there are two statements of the scholars regarding the punishment intended in this Ayah: It is either the presence of ‘killing in this worldly life’ or punishment in the hell fire in the afterlife.

Musa (alayhis-salaam) advised them with a great affair!

Allaah (The Most High) said:

And Musa (Moses) said: “O my people! If you have believed in Allah, then put your trust in Him if you are Muslims (those who submit to Allah’s Will).” They said: “In Allah we put our trust. Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the folk who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing) (i.e. do not make them overpower us). And save us by Your Mercy from the disbelieving folk.” [10:84-86]

Reminders from Imaam Sadi (rahimahullaah)

They asked their Lord not to put them to trial-neither by way of being placed under the authority of a people who would then put them to trial, nor to be defeated and then they fall into trial, saying: Had we been upon the truth we would not have been defeated.

They are put to trial once or twice every year!

Allaah (The Most High) said:

See they not that they are tried once or twice every year? Yet, they turn not in repentance, nor do they learn a lesson (from it).’’ [9:126]

Reminders from Imaam Sadi (rahimahullaah)

(Put to trial) by way of calamities and diseases and (by way of the) the divine laws. However, they neither turn in repentance nor (abandon) what they are upon of evil, nor do they learn a lesson with regards to what would benefit them, so that they may act upon it. Nor (do they learn a lesson with regards to) what is harmful to them, so that they may abandon it.

Allaah (The Most High) put them to the test—and this is Allaah’s way with all the nations— through poverty (or loss in wealth), loss of health and calamities and through commands and prohibitions, so that they might turn to Allaah; but they neither repent nor learn a lesson.

In this Ayah is proof that Imaan increases and decreases and that it is obligated upon the believer to examine his Imaan- paying close attention to it, improving and making it grow (through the means that Allaah has prescribed for its improvement and growth), so that it constantly rises.

They deserved disgrace in this life and the next due to their filthy and evil deeds!

Allaah (The Most High) said:

O Messenger (Muhammad)! Let not those who hurry to fall into disbelief grieve you, of such who say: “We believe” with their mouths but their hearts have no faith.

And of the Yahood are men who listen much and eagerly to lies – listen to others who have not come to you [those of their leaders who substitute the Torah (1)]

They change the words from their places- [declaring the halaal to be haraam and the haraam to be halaal (2)]; they say, “If you are given this (ruling), take it; but if you are not given this, then beware!”

And whomsoever Allah wants to put in Al-Fitnah- [misguidance or punishment, or exposed; (3) because of his rejecting the Faith (4)] you can do nothing for him against Allah- [you cannot save him (5)]

Those are the ones [Yahood and Munaafiqoon (6)] whose hearts Allaah does not want to purify (from disbelief and hypocrisy); for them there is a disgrace in this world- [Allaah informed the Prophet of what was hidden in the hearts of the Munaafiqoon as well as the lies of the Yahood in this worldly life (6)], and for them (there) is a great torment in the Hereafter. [5:41]

Kinds words and forgiveness…..

Allaah (Subhaanah) said:

Good Health and Free Time—Imaam Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah)

Narrated Ibn Abbaas (radiyallaahu-anhuma): The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: ”There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) health and free time for doing good.”[1]

Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said: This is the true state of affairs. Many people are deprived of these two blessings. (They) depart from him (i.e. the person) without fruitful gain and that is: They depart from him without (him acquiring) any benefit.[2]

If a person abandons what is of Benefit, he/she will be put to trial with what is harmful

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Imaam Sadi (rahimahullaah) stated:

The Qur’aan has shown in a number of verses that one will be put to trial through preoccupying himself with what will harm him when he abandons what is of benefit, whilst having ability to reach that.  And he will be prevented from reaching the first affair (i.e. the benefit he abandoned in the first place). This is found in a number of verses that when the polytheists shunned the worship of Ar-Rahmaan [The Most Merciful (Allaah)], they were put to trial with the worship of images (idols)

And when they displayed haughtiness (with regards to not obediently submitting to the command of the Messengers) and claimed that the Messengers were (only) humans, they were put to trial through submitting to everything that made (their) intellect and Religion shaky.

And when Eemaan was clearly shown to them at the first instance and they recognized (it), but then abandoned it, Allaah (Glorified Be He) diverted, afflicted and sealed their hearts.  So, they did not believe until they perceived the painful punishment.

And after the straight path was clarified for them and they deviated from it by choice- approving the path of deviation in opposition to the path of guidance, they were punished.  Allaah deviated their hearts and caused them to be confounded in their path.

And when they belittled the signs of Allaah and His Messengers, Allaah belittled them with a humiliating punishment.

And when they displayed haughtiness (with regards to not submitting to the truth), Allaah humiliated them in this life and the next.

And when they forbade that Allaah’s Name be glorified and mentioned in the Mosques of Allaah and strive for their ruin, then it was not fitting after that they should enter it except in fear.

”And of them are some who made a covenant with Allaah (saying): ”If He bestowed on us of His Bounty, we will verily give Sadaqah (Zakat and voluntary charity in Allaah’s cause) and will be certainly among those who are righteous.  ”Then when He gave them of His Bounty, they became niggardly [refused to pay the Sadaqah (Zakat or voluntary charity)], and turned away, averse.  So He punished them by putting hypocrisy into their hearts till the Day whereon they shall meet him, because they broke that (covenant with Allaah) which they had promised to Him and because they used to tell lies’’ (9:75-77)

The verses (conveying) this meaning are numerous.  And in such (verses) is that the slave was close to being guided and made to traverse the straight path, but then he abandoned it after knowing it, and renounced it after having traversed upon it, so he is punished and has no right to guidance.  This is a recompense for his actions, as Allaah said about the Yahood:

”And when there came to them a Messenger from Allaah (i.e. Muhammad) confirming what was with them, a party of those who were given the Scripture threw away the Book of Allaah behind their backs as if they did not know!  They followed what the (devils) gave out (falsely of the magic) in the lifetime of Sulaymaan”.  2:101-102

They abandoned the most sublime, the most beneficial and the most truthful of the Books (i.e. the Qur’aan), so Allaah put them to test with following that which is the most debased, most untruthful, and most harmful.

Those who wage war against Allaah and His Messenger abandon spending their wealth in obedience to Allaah, and (instead) spend it in obedience to shaytaan.

Everyday two Angels come down from heaven….

Narrated Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu-anhu): The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: ‘Everyday two angels come down from heaven and one of them says, ‘O Allaah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause’, and the other (angel) says, ‘O Allaah destroy every miser’

O son of Aadam allocate time to worship Me regularly, I will fill your heart with richness

 The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) stated:

Allaah stated: ”O son of Aadam allocate time to worship me regularly, I will fill your heart with richness and remove your poverty.  If you do not do so, I will make your hands filled with occupation and will not remove your poverty” [1]

The prophet (sallal-laahu alayhi wasallam) also stated:

”Your Lord (Glorified and Exalted Be He) stated: ”O son of Aadam! Allocate time to worship Me regularly; I will fill your heart with richness. O son of Aadam! Do not distance yourself from Me or I will fill your heart with poverty and your hands with occupation.’’ [2]
