The Ruling on the Common people of the Rawaafid (shia)—Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadee (may Allaah preserve him)

Question:

Our Shaikh (may Allaah preserve you); the questioner says: What is the ruling on the common people of the Rawaafid (shia) and how do we deal with them?

Answer:

The questioner differentiates between the common people and other than them; this is a good approach. The common people who neither speak ill of the wives of the Messenger of Allaah (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) nor do they make takfeer of the Sahaabah (radiyallaahu-anhum), nor do they believe that the Qur’aan is distorted; but they have some Rafd (i.e. beliefs of the raafidah) and some hatred for the Sahaabah without making takfeer of them and what is similar to (these actions); then these ones are misguided innovators and we do not declare them disbelievers. And whoever joins their heretics in making takfeer of Muhammad’s (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) Sahaabah; in speaking ill of the wives of the Messenger of Allaah (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam); in the filthy belief that the Qur’aan has been distorted, and that there is an addition and deficiency in it, then this (person) is a disbeliever similar to the disbelievers of the Yahood and Nasaaraa—there is no differentiation between their common people and their scholars (in this affair).

Question

How do we deal with them?

Answer:

If dealing with them is with regards to a worldly affair—business transactions and what is similar to that—(then) it is permissible to trade with a Jew, a Christian and a Raafidee; but as for co-operating with them in the affairs of religion, then never. [Allaah (The Most High)] said: [وَلَا تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٲنِ‌ۚ] ‘’Do not help one another in sin and transgression.’’ [5:2] Rather their scholars and callers are boycotted and they are warned against.

The Mufti of KSA [Al-Allaamah Abdul-Azeez Aala Shaikh] Speaks Against Boko Haram [The Khawaarij of Nigeria]

In The name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Al-Allaamah Abdul Azeez Aala Shaikh (may Allaah preserve him) says:

*Boka Haraam is a misguided group and are from the khawaarij.

*Their actions are evil and harmful for Islam and the Muslims.

*Their actions are destructive.

*Abducting girls is from the actions of a misguided group.

*If Boka Haraam are claiming a call to jihad, then it is nothing but ignorance and enmity against Islaam and the Muslims.

*Boka Haraam are not upon correctness and guidance because Islaam opposes abduction/kidnapping, unlawful killing and transgression.

*Marrying off kidnapped/abducted females is haraam and it is not permissible to give them in marriage.

Yasir Qadhi follows Orientalists in their perception of Salafiyyah and Abu Eesa Declares Abu Ghuddah [a Figurehead of The Grave Worshippers] a Scholar of Islaam!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Ustaadh Abu Iyaad (may Allaah preserve him) states:

Thus, it is from the height of deception and injustice, that rather than quote from Salafi authorities, Yasir Qadhi follows Jewish, Christian Orientalists in their perception of Salafiyyah, throwing in the Kharijites, Ikhwanis, takfiris and others alongside them to help arrive at the misguided conclusion that Salafiyyah is a fallible human trend because there are a “spectrum of conflicting views” within it. [End of Quote] [see article @  www.salafis.com  titled: Refuting Yasir Qadhi and the orientalists.  Ibn-taymiyyah on salafiyyah-being-the-prophetic way]

Abu Eesa (Niamatullaah)

So we say: Thus it is from the height of deception and injustice, that rather than distinguish the Salafi authorities from the people of Misguidance, Abu Eesa follows the satanic path of the Ikhwaanees, throwing in the figureheads of the grave worshippers as great personalities and scholars of Islaam alongside the Imaams of Tawheed and Sunnah, such as the likes of Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz, Allaamah Ahmad Shaakir and Imaam Albaani. On Monday, August 1, 2005 Abu Eesa wrote: ‘’In the view of recent deaths and the like, wouldn’t it be nice if we remembered a few of the (many) major scholars that we’ve lost in the last few centuries? Here are a few rare pictures to give you some faces to all the names you’ve heard so much of.’’ [Included amongst Abu Eesa’s major scholars were the likes of Shaikh Abdul Fattaah Abu Ghuddah and this statement of his is still present in his blog]

Who is Shaikh Abdul Fattaah Abu Ghuddah?

Imaam Albaani (rahimahullaah) said: He is Shaikh Abdul-Fattaah Abu Ghuddah Al-Hanafi Al-Halabi; well known for his severe enmity towards the People of Sunnah and Hadeeth, especially in his land Halab, when he used to deliver the khut’bah on the Minbar of his Masjid on the Day of Juma’ah and utilized it for abuse against the people of Tawheed who were well-known as the Salafiyyeen, particularly in his land, and the Saudi people of Tawheed and other than them whom he nicknamed Al-Wahhaabiyyah in general. He proclaimed his severe enmity towards them and clearly declared them misguided with his speech: ‘’Indeed, appealing for aid and assistance through the dead besides Allaah (The Most High) and seeking deliverance and rescue of them is permissible, and it is not shirk. And whoever claims that it is shirk or kufr is a kaafir…[1]

We seek Allaah’s protection from falsehood and its people. Aameen. This one of the scholars of misguidance Abu Eesa declares as one of the great scholars of the Ummah alongside Imaam Bin Baaz, Imaam Albaanee and Al-Allaamah Ahmad Shaakir (rahimahumullaah).

A path of the people of deviation, such as the raafidah and the khawaarij…

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Abdullaah Wahhaab (rahimahullaah) said:

ترك الدليل الواضح، والاستدلال بلفظ متشابه هو طريق أهل الزيغ كالرافضة والخوارج قال تعالى

Abandoning clear evidence and using an ambiguous wording as proof is the path of the people of deviation, such as the raafidah (shia) and the khawaarij; Allaah (The Most High) said:

[فأما الذين في قلوبهم زيغ فيتبعون ما تشابه منه ] ‘’So as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation (from the truth) they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof.’’ [3:7]

Imaam Albaani (rahimahullaah) speaks about one of Jamaat At-Tableegh’s Books titled: [Hayatus Sahaabah]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Imaam Albaani (rahimahullaah) stated that the one who authored this Book (i.e. Hayatus Sahaabah) is not merely an individual amongst Jamaat At-Tableegh, but he is a figurehead, if not a figurehead of the figureheads. He authored this book and the Jamaa’ah (At-Tableegh) apply what it guides to; but this book is compiled in a haphazard manner; meaning: The author did not distinguish what is in this book with a mention- first and foremost- of what is narrated from the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) with authentic chains of transmission; because the speech of the Messenger is not like the speech of others even if they (i.e. others) are from the righteous friends of Allaah.

Secondly: The author mentioned many narrations attributed to the Sahaabah (radiyallaahu-anhum); and when it is the case that he did attribute unauthentic narrations to the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam), which the people of knowledge do not consider to be authentic based on the science of Hadeeth,  its chains of transmissions and the biographies of the narrators, then it is most likely that he would mention numerous unauthentic narrations attributed to the actions, methodology and manners of the Sahaabah.  Paraphrased…see full discussion here: Imaam_Albaanee

Then Imaam Albaanee (rahimahullaah) mentioned a very important statement of Shaykhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) as follows:

على كل باحث أن يتثبت فيما يرويه عن أصحاب النبي، كما يتثبت فيما يرويه عن الله ورسوله [Every researcher in the affairs of knowledge of the sharia must ascertain what he narrates about the companions of the Prophet (i.e. such narrations must have an authentic chain of transmission and the correct understanding of them), just as the researcher is (required) to ascertain whatever he narrates about Allaah and His Messenger (i.e. anything he attributes to Allaah and Messenger must be established from the Qur’aan and authentic Sunnah, obviously accompanied by the understanding of the Salaf).  [Listen to audio here:
