[2] Reminders from Surah Al-Qasas—Look at how Imaam Sadi and Imaam Ibnul Jawzi described the corrupters in the earth

Allaah (The Most High) said:

‘We recite to you some of the news of Musa (Moses) and Fir’aun (Pharaoh) in truth” [because their story is remarkable and the information about them is amazing indeed (1)]; ”for a people who believe” [those who believe in this Qur’an, and in the Oneness of Allah(2)].

”Verily, Fir’aun (Pharaoh) exalted himself in the land and made its people sects, weakening (oppressing) a group (i.e. Children of Israel) among them, killing their sons, and letting their females live. Verily, he was of the Mufsidunthose whose intention is neither to rectify the religious nor worldly affairs, and this was from his corrupt behaviour in the earth; (3) committing unlawful killing, and being disobedient (to Allaah).
