Pharaoh and his bunch of [sinful rebellious] idiots

Allaah  (The Most High) said: [وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ] ”Fir’aun (Pharaoh) said’’ with haughtiness and tyranny, whilst deluding his foolish people; [ذَرُونِي أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ وَلْيَدْعُ رَبَّهُ ] ‘’Leave me to kill Musa (Moses), and let him call his Lord (to stop me from killing him)!’’ [Soorah Ghafir: Ayah 26]

It was his claim that had it not been for his consideration of the wishes of his people, he would have killed Musa, and (Musa’s) supplication to his Lord would not have prevented him from that. He then mentioned what made him want to kill Musa and that he is a sincere adviser to his people, and that he wished to remove mischief from the land.  Allaah (The Most High) said that he said:

[إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمْ أَوْ أَنْ يُظْهِرَ فِي الْأَرْضِ الْفَسَادَ] ‘’I fear that he (Musa) may change your religion, or that he may cause mischief to appear in the land!” [Soorah Ghaafir: Ayah 26]

This is the most amazing the affair can be! The evilest one among the creation gives advice to the people against the best among the creation. This is disguised falsehood and propaganda, which cannot seize except the intellects of those (people) about whom Allaah stated: [فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ] ”Thus he [Fir’aun (Pharaoh)] befooled and misled his people, and they obeyed him. Verily, they were ever a people who were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).’’[Soorah Az-Zukhruf: Ayah 54]

[3] Allaah’s Various Types of Punishments and Their Causes—Shaikh Abdullaah Ibn Salfeeq Adh-Dhufayree (may Allaah preserve him)

Following desires (as a source of punishment upon a person)

O slaves of Allaah! Observe this (affair) regarding the one who abandons the Sunnah and the way of the Salaf; you will find him preoccupied in deviation and innovation (in religious affairs) until he reaches -by way of this affair- a state of breaking point in the religion, or excommunicating Muslims (unlawfully) and shedding the blood of the Muslims; (1) and similar to this (also) are the people of disobedience and major sins, until their hearts become like an upturned vessel. (Hearts, which) neither recognize good nor reject evil. (2) And acts of disobedience stimulate one another until it becomes that–as you witness today– committing acts of disobedience is what many people are accustomed with and obedience to Allaah becomes something strange. (3) And from the most dangerous of that is what you witness with regards to the Salaah and its strict observance; for how many people and households have become negligent regarding it!

————————————————————————-

(1) Footnotes as it appeared in the Booklet: Imaam Barbahaari (rahimahullaah said: ”Beware of small innovations because they grow until they become large. This is the case with every innovation introduced in this Ummah. It began as something small, bearing resemblance to the truth which is why those who entered it were misled and then were unable to leave it. So it grew and became the religion which they followed and thus deviated from the Straight Path and left Islaam.”

Translator’s notes: [Note: Bidah is of two types: Bidah that exits a person from the fold of Islaam and Bidah that does not exit a person from the fold of Islaam. (See the comments of Shaikh Ahmad Najmi (rahimahullaah) in his explanation of this above statement of Imaam Barbahaaree in Publisher: Daarul Minhaaj. 1st Ed 2009)]

(2) Footnotes as it appeared in the Booklet: The Hadeeth of Hudhaifah: He (radiyallaahu-anhu) said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) saying: The Fitan (trials and temptations) will be presented to hearts (of the people) as reed mat is woven stick by stick. So any heart which is absorbed by them will have a black mark put into it, but any heart which rejects them will have a white mark put in it. The result is that there will become two types of hearts: one white like a white stone which will not be harmed by any turmoil or temptation, so long as the heavens and the earth endure; and the other black and dust-coloured like a vessel which is upturned—(Hearts that will) neither recognize what is good nor reject what is evil, but being absorbed with desires. [Saheeh Muslim. Kitaab Al-Imaan. Chapter 65: Islaam began as something strange and it will return as something strange. Hadeeth Number: 144]

(3)Footnotes as it appeared in the Booklet: This is an evidence of the testification regarding Islaam’s strangeness in this era, the decrease of knowledge and ignorance regarding that which Allaah sent His Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) with, until good has become evil in the eyes of many of the people and evil has become good; and the Sunnah has become bidah (in their eyes of the people) and bidah has become Sunnah. This (state of affairs) is a testification to the hadeeth reported by Bukhaari Number 80 and Muslim 2671 from Anas (radiyallaahu-anhu), who said: The Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: From among the portents of the Hour are (the following): Religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of Religious learned men); Ignorance (of Religion) will prevail; Drinking of Alcoholic drinks (will be very common) and there will be prevalence of open illegal sexual intercourse.

[2] A Description of the One Who Abandoned Knowledge of the Book and Preferred the Dunya over the Aakhirah

Ibn Jurayj (rahimahullaah) said:

A dog’s heart is disconnected (i.e. inattentive) and it is (as if) it does not have a heart. It lolls it’s tongue out whether driven away or left alone. This is similar to the one who abandoned guidance; for it is (as if) he does not have a heart (to make him attentive); rather his heart is disconnected. The intent behind Ibn Jurayj’s statement that the dog’s heart is disconnected (i.e. inattentive) is that it does not possess (that type of) heart to enable it to exercise patience and abandon lolling its tongue out. This is also the case regarding the one who abandons the Aayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc) of Allaah. He is not left with a heart that will enable him to exercise patience with the worldly (goods) and to abandon exerting himself for them. So this person exerts himself for the sake of the worldly (goods) due to the little patience he possesses and the dog lolls its tongue out due to the little patience it possesses when in need of water.

A dog is among those animals with the least patience when thirsty and in need of water. It eats the moist earth out of thirst, even though it does have some patience when in need of food. Nevertheless, among all animals it lolls its tongue out the most, whether it is standing, sitting, moving or not moving. The intense desire inside it necessitates that it will always loll it’s tongue. Likewise, this is the affair of that person likened to the dog; the extreme eagerness and burning desire in his heart necessitates that he will always exert himself (for the worldly goods at the expense of the Aakhirah). He still exerts himself whether he is admonished and advised, and he still exerts himself when not admonished.

Mujaahid (rahimahullaah) said:

This is similar to the one given knowledge of the Book, but he does not act upon it. Ibn Abbaas (radiyallaahu-anhumaa) said: If you direct him towards wisdom, he does not carry it, and if you leave him alone he is not guided towards good, just like the dog that lolls it’s tongue out whether it is taking a rest or driven away.

Al-Hasan (rahimahullaah) said:

It is the Munaafiq. He does not remain firm upon the truth whether he is called or left alone; whether he is admonished or not admonished, just like the dog that lolls its tongue out whether driven away or left alone.

So Allaah (The Most High) gave an example of the one who abandoned His Aayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc), saying: He is misguided whether you admonish him or leave him alone, just like the dog that lolls its tongue out whether driven away or left alone. This Ayah (i.e. A’raaf 176) is similar to the saying of Allaah (The Most High):

[وَإِن تَدۡعُوهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ لَا يَتَّبِعُوڪُمۡ‌ۚ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ أَدَعَوۡتُمُوهُمۡ أَمۡ أَنتُمۡ صَـٰمِتُونَ  ] ”And if you call them to guidance, they follow you not. It is the same for you whether you call them or you keep silent.” [7:193]

[1] Allaah’s Various Types of Punishments and Their Causes—Shaikh Abdullaah Ibn Salfeeq Adh-Dhufayree (may Allaah preserve him)

O people! Allaah [The Blessed and Most High] obligated on every Makhlooq (i.e. every Jinn and human) to obey Him and obey His Messenger (i.e. Muhammad) in every era and place. And He forbade (us) from disobeying Him and His Messenger. Allaah (The Mighty and Majestic) stated:

[يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۥ وَلَا تَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ وَأَنتُمۡ تَسۡمَعُونَ ]

‘O you who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him (i.e. Messenger Muhammad) while you are hearing.” [8:20]

And Allaah (The Most High) said:

[قُلۡ أَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ‌ۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِينَ   ]

”Say (O Muhammad): “Obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad).” But if they turn away, then Allah does not like the disbelievers.” [3:32]

And Allaah (The Most High) said:

”Make not the calling of the Messenger (Muhammad) among you as your calling of one another. Allah knows those of you who slip away under shelter (of some excuse without taking the permission to leave, from the Messenger). And let those who oppose the Messenger’s (Muhammad) commandment (i.e. his Sunnah legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements, etc.) (among the sects) beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, trials, afflictions, earthquakes, killing, overpowered by a tyrant, etc.) befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them.” [Noble Qur’aan 24:63]

In these Noble Verses, Allaah (The Most High) commanded (us) to obey Him and to obey His Messenger, and He made that a cause of happiness in this life and the next. He forbade (us) from disobeying Him and His Messenger, and He made that (i.e. disobedience and sin) a cause of punishment in this worldly life—(a punishment) that can neither be imagined nor perceived. And because of this Allaah ended these two verses with a mention of the severity of His Punishment by way of a Fitnah (trial) and a painful torment upon the one disobeys Him and His Messenger.

Imaam Ahmad (rahimahullaah) said about this Ayah (i.e.24:63): Do you know what Al-Fitna is? Al-Fitnah is Shirk. Perhaps if he (i.e. the person) rejects some of his (i.e. the Prophet’s) saying, something of deviation may enter into his heart, so he becomes destroyed.” [Reported by Ibn Battah in Al-Ibaanah Al-Kubraa 97]

[1] A Description of the One Who Abandoned Knowledge of the Book and Preferred the Dunya over the Aakhirah [Summarized Benefits from Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah)]

Allaah (The Most High) said:

وَٱتۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَبَأَ ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَاتَيۡنَـٰهُ ءَايَـٰتِنَا فَٱنسَلَخَ مِنۡهَا فَأَتۡبَعَهُ ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَاوِينَ

”And recite (O Muhammad) to them the story of him to whom We gave Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but he threw them away, so Shaitan (Satan) followed him up, and he became of those who went astray.” [7:175]

”And had We willed, We would surely have elevated him therewith but he clung to the earth and followed his own vain desire. So his description is the description of a dog: if you drive him away, he lolls his tongue out, or if you leave him alone, he (still) lolls his tongue out. Such is the description of the people who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). So relate the stories, perhaps they may reflect.’’ [7:176]

Allaah likens him—[the one whom He gave knowledge of the Book and taught him knowledge which was not given to others, but he abandoned it; followed his desires and preferred the Anger of Allaah over the Pleasure of Allaah; preferred the worldly life over the afterlife and preferred the created beings over the Creator]—to a dog, which is considered to be from the meanest of animals; the lowest in status and the meanest in inclination.

Its desire does not exceed beyond its stomach (i.e. its desire for food). It is considered to among the greediest (of animals) and most eager (for food). And due to its eagerness (for food), it does not go about except that it places its nose on the ground, whilst sniffing and roaming about greedily and eagerly. It does not cease smelling its anus besides all its other body parts. If a stone is thrown at it, it returns to bite it due to extreme greed. When it takes possession of a dead animal enough for a hundred dogs, it would not allow another dog to eat anything from it, except whilst growling and seeking to gain the upper hand due to eagerness, greed and covetousness.

In this parable about the one likened to a dog that constantly lolls its tongue out—[the one who gave precedence to this worldly life and its quick fading enjoyment over the afterlife despite his abundant knowledge of the Book]—there is a marvellous underlying reason. And that is because this person whom Allaah mentioned as one who abandoned the verses of Allaah and followed his desires, he (only) did so out of severe eagerness for the worldly life and due his heart being separated from Allaah and the afterlife. He is extremely eager for it and his eagerness is similar to the constant eagerness of a dog whether it is troubled or left alone.

Summarized benefits derived from a short lecture of Shaikh Khaalid Abdur-Rahmaan about the reality of the khawaarij and Daa-ish

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

—————————————————————————————————————————————————

Summarized Benefits from the audio in this link:  https://soundcloud.com/ahlalathar/28-1435-1

—————————————————————————————————————————————————-

[1] Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah and other scholars made it known that some of the Khawaarij do not make takfeer of Muslims for every type of major sin; rather they only make takfeer for some major sins and not others.

Many of the people say: ”’O brother! These people (i.e. some of the khawaarij at present) do not make takfeer of the Muslims for committing adultery or for consuming alcohol etc…so how can you call them khawaarij?!”

This affair has become confusing for many of the people because they do not know that some of the khawaarij make takfeer on account of a major sin committed by a Muslim and others amongst the khawaarij do not do so. And for this reason they make takfeer of the one who rules by other than what Allaah has revealed, when it is the case that ruling by other than what Allaah has revealed is a major sin from the major sins. [See here detailed explanation of this affair http://www.spubs.com/sps/sp.cfm?subsecID=MNJ05&articleID=MNJ050003&articlePages=1 http://www.spubs.com/sps/sp.cfm?subsecID=MNJ05&articleID=MNJ050018&articlePages=1]

[2] The khawaarij are all agreed upon the fact that the one who does not rule by what Allaah has revealed is a disbeliever. And this is why Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said about the Ayah: [وَمَن لَّمۡ يَحۡكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ – And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun (i.e. disbelievers – of a lesser degree as they do not act on Allah’s Laws )—None uses the generality of this ayah as evidence (for takfeer) except the khawaarij. [Again see detailed explanation of this affair here:http://www.spubs.com/sps/sp.cfm?subsecID=MNJ05&articleID=MNJ050003&articlePages=1http://www.spubs.com/sps/sp.cfm?subsecID=MNJ05&articleID=MNJ050018&articlePages=1]

Therefore, it is not a condition that a person has to make takfeer for every type of major sin in order to be regarded a kharaaji.

[3] One should not be deceived by what the khawaarij manifest in exalting the Islamic Law

It is upon the Muslims to refer the affairs back to its people (i.e. to those who are qualified to speak in these affairs and have been entrusted with it). Allaah said:

”When there comes to them some matter touching (public) safety or fear, they make it known (among the people), if only they had referred it to the Messenger or to those charged with authority among them, the proper investigators would have understood it from them (directly). Had it not been for the Grace and Mercy of Allah upon you, you would have followed Shaitan (Satan), save a few of you.” [Soorah An-Nisaa. Ayah 83]

When the Muslim is confronted with a fitna or an affair of fear or public safety, he should ask the scholars. At present Al-Allaamah Saaleh al-Fawzaan and others amongst the people of knowledge say that Daa-ish are khawaarij, people of fitnah and evil people. They slaughter the Muslims.

These ones (Daa-ish/ ISIS) believe that whoever does not believe in the pledge given to Abubakr Al-Baghdaadi is a disbeliever, then how can it be said that they do not make takfeer of the Muslims. They say that all the Muslim rulers are disbelievers-this is the creed of Daa-ish. If these people (Daa-ish) are not khawaarij, then who are the khawaarij?! These ones (i.e. Daa-ish) say that whoever does not give consideration to the pledge given to AbuBakr Al-Baghdaadi is a disbeliever and that all the Muslim Rulers are disbelievers!

As for their manifestation and exaltation of the Islamic laws, practices and implementation of the Islamic penal codes; then this is something well known of the khawaarij. The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: ”One of you would belittle his own prayer when compared to their prayer and his fasting compared to their fasting….”

Therefore, they manifest an exaltation of the sharee-ah affairs, such as the prayer, the zakat and establishment of the Islamic penal codes, however they are upon a corrupt creed. It is not befitting to be deceived by what they manifest or what is manifested from them with regards to exaltation of the share-ah.

Why did the khawaarij of old fight the Sahaabah (the Companions of the Prophet) when they (i.e. khawaarij) announced an exaltation of the sharee-ah?! They (i.e. khawaarij) said: ‘’There is no judgement except with Allaah.’’ So Ali (radiyallaahu-anhu) said to them: ‘’You have uttered a statement of truth by way of which you intend falsehood.’’ They manifested exaltation of the share-ah and an establishment of it in order to make lawful the shedding of the blood of the Sahaabah. They declared the Sahaabah disbelievers and killed them. They made lawful the shedding of the blood of the Sahaabah in the name of the Sharee-ah, saying: ‘’There is no judgement except with Allaah’’, so Ali (radiyallaahu-anhu) said to them: ‘’You have uttered a statement of truth by way of which you intend falsehood.’’

This is the path of the khawaarij since the early days. Therefore, it is obligatory to be eager for knowledge and to attach oneself to the scholars of the Sunnah; the scholars of hadeeth and the fuqahaa, so that one does not fall into the schemes of these khawaarij imposters.

[6] Demonstrations/Protests—A Few Reminders for the sensible person

Shaikh Saaleh As-Suhaymi (may Allaah preserve him) said:

None benefits from this Demagoguery and chaos except the enemies of Islaam and the Sunnah. And because of this those behind it are six groups. The kuffaar of various creeds (1); The Raafidah; The khawaarij; The Liberalists; The seekers of rulership and government seats; the fishers in the murky waters amongst the rabble and lowly people-those who praise what they do not know and are followers of everyone who shouts and other than them amongst the foreigners.

Therefore, it is befitting that the Muslims keep themselves away from falling into these situations, and that they should not be إمعاوات–yes men or lapdogs. ”Do not be yes men, saying: If the people are good (or righteous), we are good (or righteous); and if they do wrong (or become unrighteous), we do wrong (or become unrighteous); but make up your mind; If the people do good (or are righteous), then be good (or righteous). If they do evil, then do not do wrong.” Rather, it is upon them (i.e. the Muslims) to follow the methodology of the pious predecessors in rectifying the affairs. Imaam Maalik (rahimahullaah) said: The latter part of this Ummah will not be rectified except by way of that which rectified its earlier part. (2)

Indeed those actions (i.e. demonstrations/protests) are alien to the Muslim society. They have been imported from the Yahood and Nasaaraa; rather they are from the concepts of the Zionist free masons, which the Zionists call to in their well-known evil scheming and with the intention of corrupting the relationship between the rulers and subjects in the lands of the Muslims.

The Meeting between Shaytaan (may Allaah curse him) and Yahyah Ibn Yoosuf Az-Zummiy (rahimahullaah)

Abdillaah Al-Qazweeniy also narrated to us, saying: Yahyaa Ibnu Abdaka Al-Qazweeniy said: I heard Yahyaa Ibn Yoosuf Az-Zummiy saying: Once I was taking a midday nap in one of the sandstone inns, then suddenly a powerful creature (of  a strange and frightening appearance) entered upon me, so I said: ”Who are you?”  He said: ”You not scared O father of Zakariyyah!” I said: ”Yes, (i.e. am not scared), who are you?” and I stood up ready to fight him.  So he said: ”I am Abu Murra (i.e. shaytaan).”  So I said: ”Laa HayyaakAllaah.” So he said: ”Had I known that you were in this house I would not have entered and I would have resided in another house. This has been my place of residence since I came to khurasaan.”  I said: ”Where did you come from?” He said: ”From Iraq.”  So I said: ”What did you do in Iraq?” He said: ”I have left a vicegerent in (Iraq).”  I said: ”Who is he?”  He said:”Bishr Al-Marreesiy.”   I said: ”What is he calling to (i.e. propagating)?”  He said: ”He is  (propagating) that the Qur’aan is created, and I came to khurasaan and also left a vicegerent in it.”  I said: ”What do you say about the Qur’aan?”  He said:  ”Even though I am an accursed devil, I say that the Qur’aan is the speech of Allaah and it is not created.”

This story wasnarrated from Yahyah Ibn Yoosuf  (Abu Zakariyyah) with an authentic chain of transmission.  Satan came to him whilst he was in a house that resembles a hotel, where strangers and those arriving at a placetake as their place of residence.  Satan entered upon him and said: ”You not scared of me?”  So Abu Zakariyyah said to him: ”No, I am not scared of you, and who are you?  So satan said: ”I am abu murra.” (i.e. I am shaytaan—the big satan (May the curse of Allaah be upon him).

Yahyah was ready to fight him, so shaytaan said: ”I am Abu Murra.” Yahyah said to him: Laa Hayaakallaah!  Yahyah was firm and strong at heart in challenging satan because a person may not be able to face the Jinn.  There are many people who die out of fear when they see the Jinn.  However, some people are able to face the Jinn and defeat them and amongst them was Umar Ibnul Khattaab (radiyallaahu-anhu) because he did not walk a path except that satan took a different path.  And Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu-anhu) was from such people because he captured satan three times whilst satan was stealing from the food the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) asked Abu Hurairah to guard.  A strong believer neither fears the Jinn nor the people. He does not fear anyone except Allaah, especially the type of fear that is tantamount to shirk—we seek Allaah’s protection from this.  Some people have a fear that is tantamount to shirk—fear of the dead and the devils. We seek Allaah’s protection from calamity.  However, Yahyah-Abu Zakariyyah did not fear, rather he was strong at heart and strong in facing satan.

So satan said tohim: ”Had I known that you were in this house, I would not have entered.”  This proves that satan does not have knowledge of the unseen and the Jinn do not know the unseen, just as Allaah stated in the story of Sulaymaan (alayhis-salaam):

Then when We decreed death for him [Sulaiman (Solomon)], nothing informed them (jinns) of his death except a little worm of the earth, which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his stick, so when he fell down, the jinns saw clearly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have stayed in the humiliating torment. [Soorah Sabah: Ayah: 14]

Allaah said:

”Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person.  Who gives ear (to the devils and they pour what they may have heard of the unseen from the angels), and most of them are liars.” [Soorah Shu-araa Ayah: 221-223]

The devils steal from the news of the heavens by snatching a statement and descend with it; then they relate it to the soothsayer or the magician and add a hundred lies to it.  This person who receives this from the devils is a (human) satan, a soothsayer and a magician. However, whether he is a soothsayer, a (human) satan or a magician, they all receive slander and lies from satan (i.e. the devils amongst the Jinn).  They are liars because whoever narrates a narration whilst knowing that it is a lie, then indeed he is one of the liars.

So Yahyah asked satan where he came from and he said that he was from Iraq. The trials and tribulations flared up in Iraq.  So Yahyah said to him, ”What did you doin Iraq?” He said: I left a vicegerent in it.  Yahyah said to him: Who is he?  He said: Bishr Al-Marreesiy.  Therefore, the callers to innovation and misguidance are the vicegerents of satan and the scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets and their vicegerents Inshaa-Allaah.  The callers to innovation, falsehood, disbelief and misguidance are vicegerents of Iblees and his armies.  Therefore be cautious of being amongst the army of satan or amongst his vicegerents

Then Yahyah asked satan about what Bishr Al-Marreesiy was calling to; he said that he was saying that the Qur’aan is created. This alone is a great achievement for satan because it brought about strife, differing and such and such.  However, there are innovations greater than it– and protection is sought from Allaah—being propagated by many people and you will find that it is the hundredth one amongst his/their innovations.   These people are more severe and they cause more strife in being the vicegerents of satan than Bishr Al-Marreesiy.  And I (i.e. ShaikhRabee) have said to some of those who defend some of the contemporary people of innovations: What is your resentment against Bishral-Marreesiy and what led both the people of Sunnah and the people of innovation in this Ummah to drop him? He said: ‘’Because he said that the Qur’aan is created.’’  I said: ”Such and such joins him in this affair and he has other big innovations that are greater than this, so how is it that you do not tremble?! Watch out against blindness O brothers! We seek Allaah’s protection from blindness and misguidance.  We seek Allaah’s protection from calamity, especially when these people attribute themselves to the salafi manhaj with their calamities.  The distress will be very heavy and the calamity will be greater if the supporters of the big innovations make claims and ascribe themselves to the salafi Manhaj.  By Allaah this is a distress upon the Ummah, for many have harmed themselves and harmed the stupid and ignorant people.  We ask Allaah for well-being

Shaytaan then said: ”Then I came to khurasaan…..”.  This is the east, as it has been stated that the horn of satan will rise from there.  The horn of satan rose in Iraq and its surrounding areas—the innovations of the Raafidah (shia), the khawaarij, the mutazilah, the jahmiyyah and other than them.  And also in Iraq arose the innovation that the Qur’aan is created.  Satan raised his horn from this east and we ask Allaah (The Blessed and Most High) to safeguard Islaam and the Islamic nation from its evil.

So Yahyah said to shaytaan: ”What do you say about the Qur’aan? That is:  If you (shaytaan) have this zeal and a vicegerent for this innovation, then what is your view about it?  He (satan) said: And even though I am an accursed devil, I say that the Qur’aan is the speech of Allaah and it is not created.’’ Satan laughs at the people and ruins them; Allaah said: ”He only invites his Hizb (followers) that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire.” We seek Allaah’s protection.

Alright, some of the callers to Islaam would say to you that he does not believe in such and such.  For example, it is said to him: ”What do you say about wahdatul wujood (i.e. oneness of Being—the belief of kufr which means that everything that is seen is Allah or a manifestation of Allah).    Alright, he says that he does not believe in wahdatul wujood, but he calls to it! He is a shaytaan and he is more of a filth than those who fall to this innovation.

They say to you: ”Such and such does not utter the innovation of wahdatul wujood”, yet he is the utterer and author of it.  Was it a slip of the tongue and the pen; however he praises the people of wahdatul wujood! If he does not believe it, then he is worse than them and this is from the plots of satan, for he (satan) does not believe that the Qur’aan is created yet he calls to it and is zealous about it.  For example: A (person) calls to socialism, Judaism or Christianity and he praises these creeds whilst not believing in them! Paul called to Christianity whilst not believing in it and he was more of a disbeliever amongst them because he does not believe that Eesaa is the son of Allaah and that he is the third of the three or that he is Allaah, yet he fabricated these beliefs; therefore he is more of a disbeliever than the Christians.  This is similar to the affair of the one who calls to innovation—he calls to an innovation that is tantamount to disbelief or an innovation that is not tantamount to disbelief, then he is worse than the one who believes in it but does not call to it.
